Communications Policy
It is the policy of SOUL to establish, maintain and promote communication through user friendly channels. We aspire to an open communication system that respects confidentiality and cultural diversity and enhances team work and the experiences of our learners.
Equality
SOUL is committed to promoting equality by conforming to the relevant legislation and raising awareness of equality issues. We aim to create an ethos wherein staff and learners are respected and afforded all available opportunities for a positive learning experience.
Access, Transfer and Progression
SOUL is committed to facilitating equal access to our programmes for all learners and promotes this through the provision of clear and positive information to learners. We are further committed to encouraging the transfer and progression of our learners and aim to provide clear career guidance information through a variety of channels.
Programme Development, Delivery and Review
SOUL is committed to developing programmes that meet the needs of learners and clients. We aim to deliver flexible, well resourced programmes which utilise the professional expertise of our staff and which meets the ability of the learners and encourage them to fulfil their potential.
We believe the review and evaluation of our programmes is paramount in ensuring that standards are maintained and that we are continuing to meet the needs of our learners and clients.
Fair and Consistent Assessment of Learners
It is our policy that learners in SOUL are subject to stringent, open, fair and consistent assessment processes that are in line with FETAC requirements and national guidelines. We believe that learners and staff should be given full and clear information in relation to the assessment processes including Internal Verification, External Authentication and Results Approval.
Protection for Learners
In recognition of the learners right to learn, SOUL aspire to facilitating transfer to alternative course provision in the event of a programme (of 3 months duration or more) ceasing unexpectedly. Section 43 of the Qualifications (Educational & Training) Act does not apply to SOUL Service.
Self Evaluation of Programmes and Services
SOUL aspire to establishing clear criteria for the thorough evaluation of programmes and services at designated intervals in order to ensure that standards are maintained and improvements implemented if necessary.
Please Note
It is the policy of SOUL Motivational Training that we will not sub-contract programme delivery. All training offered by SOUL Motivational Training will be delivered in house to our agreed standards with FETAC.
